Information for Renters and Landlords.
If you wish to rent an RV site, please contact the individual shareholder to make arrangements.
Many sites within Cedars Resort are available for RV rental on a nightly, weekly or monthly basis. Phase 1 sites #1 to #11 are 4 season with amenities including water, sewer, and 30 amp power. The remaining Phase 1 sites are 3 season. Phase 2 and 3 sites are year round with water, sewer, and 50 amp power. Some of the sites are pull-thru and are level with easy access for bigger rigs. All sites have fire pits and many include picnic tables and decks.
Water to Phase 1 is available May to October 21st, 2024.
Rental rates are determined by the individual shareholder and should be booked well in advance. There is no central booking or reservations at the Resort. Contact the shareholder directly.
Winter visitors must skirt in their RV. You must have a minimum 100 pounds of propane on hand at all times. Water lines must be heat wrapped to prevent freeze ups. Black and grey tanks must be closed and not left open to the septic system. Frozen sewers are very costly to repair and the landlord will be billed directly.
Do not contact the Resort's Maintenance Manager or any Board member for any reason. Contact your landlord only.
All renters are bound by all the Resort's Bylaws. Shareholders must submit a Rental Agreement Form to the Board well in advance. All renters must fill out a Rental Waiver form. A renter information sheet is available here.
Renters cannot alter a lot in any way. No construction, no decks, no sheds, no fences, no gazebos or shelters of any kind unless they are already established. There is a process involved and it starts with your landlord. All lots must be kept clean and tidy and may be inspected by the Board. Violations are sent directly to the landlord as they are responsible for the conduct of their renters.
Renting an RV is exempt from the BC Residential Tenancy Act. The Board has final say in the event of an eviction. RVs over 10 years old are not allowed and all units must have CSA certification.
Shareholders must supply all renters with a copy of the Bylaws.
